Although conventional wisdom would lead one to believe that the last thing on a Beverly Hills residents’ mind would be gas prices, it turns out to be anything but a stretch of the imagination. Residents are gearing up for a rally at the gas station across the street from city hall - seemingly the most expensive in the city. Residents distributed an invite for the rally (organized by advocate group MoveOn) to encourage participation. The invite immediately acknowledges that the so-called “wealthy enclave” is not exempt from the consequences paired with rising gas prices.

The purpose of the gathering is made evident near the closing of the invite, where Beverly Hills residents are urged to attend in an effort to bring

…[a] president in the White House who will bring the cost of gas down

If you wish to participate in the rally, make your way to the gas station located at the intersection of Crescent Dr. and Burton Way. The rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. We encourage all residents to attend as the effects of growing gas prices are beginning to intensify and are likely to worsen from this point on.
