Ellen DeGeneres married her long time partner Portia de Rossi today in Beverly Hills. DeGeneres is a stand-up comedian and a 25 time Emmy Award winner. She currently hosts a successful daytime talk show, appropriately named “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” DeGeneres married Portia de Rossi, herself an actress, at their Beverly Hills home.

Those who attended the event wholly agreed that the both were excited about the marriage. Their attire was also observed to be magnificent.

Attendance at the ceremony was indicative of a very private and intimate event. Only twenty or so guests attended the ceremony. After their vows were said, DeGeneres and Rossi presented themselves before a photographer for wedding pictures.

The wedding between the two was in the works since May, when gay marriage was deemed legal in California. DeGeneres announced her engagement to Rossi shortly following the lift of the ban on gay marriage. Rossi is said to have received a pink diamond ring from DeGeneres.
