Computer and video game giant Electronic Arts signed on with Beverly Hills-based United Talent Agency today in an effort to dip its feet into the motion picture/television industry. The company hopes to use its games as inspiration for fully-fledged shows and movies.
UTA represents a number of individuals in a diverse array of entertainment arenas –among them movies, music, books, and digital media. Many of UTA’s clients have gone to win coveted awards such as a Grammy or Tony award.
No financial details encompassing the partnership have been disclosed by EA.
